The planimetric dataset includes 10 different map layers digitized directly from York County's orthophotography. The sidewalks layer shows sidewalks in residential as well as other areas. The layer was originally digitized from the 1:1200 scale mylar orthophotography flown in February 1990. It was updated in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2009 with digital orthophotos using heads-up digitizing. The sidewalks layer will be updated as new digital imagery is acquired. |
