Description: Communication antennas are those antennas on top of communication towers that are owned by separate entities. They may not be owned by the owner of the tower, and are usually leased by a variety of commercial entities. There is one point for every antenna. An attribute [TOWERID] on the antenna connects it to the tower it belongs to which allows for a many-to-one relationship to be set up (many antenna's to one tower).
Description: This Sanitation layer is a polygon layer denoting the areas served by public sewer, septic tanks, or other sanitation means. The location of the homes using septic systems is important for the Virginia Department of Health. There will be some homes that have access to public sewer, but are still using septic tanks. In those cases, they will be shown as septic tank. The availability of public sewer affects the assessment of the property, therefore some undeveloped properties will be shown as public sewer, even though they have not yet connected. In those situations where two adjacent lots are owned by the same person, and the house is built across both, only one tap fee is paid, and only the primary lot will be indicated with public sewer (the other will be shown as "none")
Description: This layer is a derivative of the land parcel layer, with attributes that indicate which day of the week the garbage is collected. The parcel polygons were then dissolved based on the collection day.
Description: During leaf collection months (generally November through January), York County residents can place an unlimited number of clear bags of leaves at the front roadside for collection every other week. This service is provided by York County's Waste Management Division at no additional cost. For leaf collection purposes, the county is divided into two zones, a northern route and a southern route.
