Description: The planimetric dataset includes 10 different map layers digitized directly from York County's orthophotography. The pads layer represents parking lots and paved areas greater than 10 feet wide. This includes blacktop, concrete, and gravel lots. The layer was originally digitized from the 1:1200 scale mylar orthophotography flown in February 1990. It was updated in 1995, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2005, 2007 and 2009 with digital orthophotos using heads-up digitizing. The pads layer will be updated as new digital imagery is acquired.
